I am Crystal White, the CEO and founder of Commonwealth Residential Living, a company deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My journey and passion for establishing this organization are rooted in my personal experiences with my mother, who has an intellectual disability and schizophrenia.

 

Supporting my mother as she navigates the challenges of her condition has shaped my understanding of the urgent need for compassionate, individualized care. Despite being on the priority 2 waitlist for a waiver, my mother’s determination and resilience have inspired me to create a supportive environment not only for her but also for others facing similar challenges.

Crystal is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for each resident. She visits them several times a week, fostering happiness and supporting their unique needs. By understanding their past and present, Crystal provides personalized care that truly makes a difference. Her active involvement helps create a family-like bond, making every resident feel valued and connected.

Through innovative care solutions, advocacy, and a commitment to excellence, I strive to ensure that every individual we serve has the opportunity to thrive.
